SOUVENIR is thrilled to welcome Brooklyn based/Aussie born weaver Maryanne Moodie for her incredibly popular weaving workshops.
Choose from 2 times and two levels (beginner or intermediate), as follows:
BEGINNER WEAVING WORKSHOP -Saturday, June 25th, 9:30am - 12pm
Learn the basic stitches of woven tapestry. While this workshop does not provide enough time to finish an entire piece, Maryanne will get you going on your sampler and beginning your weaving journey. You will take away your ethically sourced loom and enough yarn to complete your first piece at home as well as a carry home bag and a head full of new knowledge.

INTERMEDIATE DESIGN WEAVING LOOM WORKSHOP Saturday, June 25th, 1:30pm - 4:30pm
Discuss divergent design activities, how to capture inspiration in everyday life, colour theory, shapes and stencils, weaving upside down and finishing techniques. This class is designed for weavers who know how to complete basic stitches and can warp up their own loom. The aim is for more experienced weavers to make their finished pieces more professional and unique. We have a open salon schedule so that we can also answer any personal weaving questions you have. You will need to bring your own loom, but all other materials are provided.
Sign up HERE for the Intermediate Class.
Refreshments provided for both workshops from SOUVENIR favourites!
